House of Streams (Netflix UK)
VIDEO EDITOR

Production Company:  Stream House Media Productions

I was part of the editing team for a reality show streamed on Twitch and later released on Netflix UK, where eight streamers from around the world lived together in a house and competed in challenges for a prize.

Before the show and throughout its broadcast, I was responsible for editing most of the video content published across social media platforms (Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok).
One of the biggest challenges of the project was the speed at which content had to be delivered, since it was a live show. Every day, I received footage from the broadcast in real time and edited it, so it could be published on the same day.
Before the show began, I created presentations for each streamer, highlighting their personalities to introduce them to the audience.
After the show finished streaming on Twitch, it was decided to re-edit the project into a series of episodes for Netflix, allowing viewers who hadn’t followed the live broadcast to experience what happened inside the house.
The biggest challenge was the huge volume of material. We were working with footage from around 40 cameras, recording around 15 hours per day over two weeks. None of the footage was labeled or organized, so I had to build a complete structure from scratch (it took two weeks just to put everything in its place). Once everything was organized, I supported the main editor by helping navigate the hundreds of terabytes of material, and also created promotional content for the series while the episodes were being edited.
Facing these challenges significantly improved my organizational and teamwork skills, and gave me the chance to work with a variety of streamers, each with their own unique style. It also gave me the opportunity to say that I worked on a show that is on Netflix, which is really cool :)
